How Fedco was born

About us: Fedco was born as a spin-off from the historic family company founded in 1956, benefiting from the know-how of an activity that has lasted for over sixty years.

Our history is full of successes and experience in the design and construction of avionics, civil or military structures, offshore lifting equipment and oil structures.

In addition, we create customized structures that are designed, produced and tested according to customer specifications, in order to meet the mandatory requirements and certify the entire system.

In these 60 years of activity we have designed and supplied products for critical sectors (for example, cranes for offshore platforms, lattice radar towers …), for important projects both in the civil and military fields.

Our history

1956

The family business was born for the production of carpentry and heavy metal structures (cranes, excavators, scaffolding).

1960s

The company moves to the new and largest production area of Pogliano Milanese. Establishing business in an operating area of approximately 6,000 m2 and a 1,500 m2 workshop.

1970s

The evolution of the market leads the company to direct its production towards telecommunication structures following the expansive trend of TV networks.

1990s - 2014

The Company implements the quality certifications required by specific reference sectors, making use of accredited third-party supervision

2017

Fedco srl was born, founded as a modern spin-off of the historic family business, benefiting from the know-how of over sixty years of activity.

2018

Fedco srl has obtained the following certifications with Bureau Veritas: ISO 9001 – ISO 3834-2 – ISO EN1090-2 (carbon steel and stainless steel) – ISO EN 1090-3 (aluminum alloys).

2019

An American multinational orders Fedco the first project and the construction / prototyping of a new structure for avionic transmission (beacon for civil or military use).
